The series centers on Makio Koudai, a 35-year-old writer, and her 15-year-old niece, who start living together under one roof. Makio suddenly decides to take Asa after the death of her parents, one of the older sisters of Makio. The next day, she comes back with the reality that she is bad at sharing a room with someone. This story narrates their daily life when Makio is trying to adjust to being a roommate, and Asa is struggling to live with an adult who doesn’t act like a grown person.
