Hikuidori: Ushuu Boro Tobi-gumi

The legendary samurai, Matsunaga Gengo, who once stopped the massive fire, earned the title of “fire-Eating Bird”. He used to be a great firefighting warrior in the Edo period. One day, he stepped out of the fire brigade due to some personal reasons. Later, he gets an offer from the Shinjo clan, whose firefighting team was so poor, short on people, and always mocked by the people. With the support of his wife, Miyuki, Gengo chooses to rebuild this fallen clan as leader. Along with a strange group, he tries to save lives, still people laugh at them and call them the Boro-Tobi-Gumi, the “ragged steeplekacks”. At the same time, a suspicious fire begins, known as “foxfires” in the Edo.
