Jigokuraku 2nd Season

Season two unfolds as the Edo period reaches its end. Gabimaru, once a powerful shinobi of Iwagakure, is now a prisoner of death sentenced. They ask him that all his crimes will be forgiven if he brings the Elixir of Life from the mysterious island of the Buddhist paradise, Sukhavati. Gabimaru sets out on his journey with his assigned executor, Yamada Asaemon Sagiri, hoping to reunite with his wife. On the way, they see many other criminals of death searching for this treasure. This island is filled with unsettling statues, horrifying creatures, and strong hermits who dominate this world. Gabimaru needs to survive and return alive.
