Tokyo’s criminal world is ruled by the crime leaders, Demon Lords, who gained their abilities through ether enhancement surgery in the mid-21st century. Only heroes, Bounty Hunters, can beat them, and they gain their powers by using a drug, E3 (E-Three). Heroes focus on survival more than justice when the killing is legal in their job. Yoshiro, called Reaper, is one of the heroes who works individually. His life takes a turn when he meets Jougamine, a high school girl. She calls herself his “Apprentice”. After being unwillingly, Yashiro gets involved in the storm of violent clashes.
